Abstract

Objective To explore a new vascular access in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods Brachial blood vessels were assessed by CDFI in patients who have no chance to set up arteriovenous fistula in forearm, we conducted slideanatomosis by continuity suture with brachial artery and cephalic vein or median vein or basilica vein. Results Twenty patients had One-time successful operation in the upper arm slideanatomosis arteriovenous fistula. There were no serious complications after postoperative. Fstula was used in good condition. Blood flow accords with hemodialysis requirements. Conclusion Continuity suture don't need special condition and make full use of autologous blood vessels, with simple operation and high success rate. Most piercing can finish in the forearm. Key words: Hemodialysis;  Vascular access;  Arteriovenous fistulae
