Abstract

Objective To improve diagnostic technique on tracheal bronchus disease in adult. Methods The clinical features and the effect of electronic bronchoscope on the diagnosis and treatment of tracheal bronchus in adult were analyzed and the clinical data of two cases were analyzed retrospectively. Results The tracheal bronchus in two patients with lung occupying lesion was found by electronic bronchoscope. After a biopsy of the occupying tissue by electronicbronchoscope, the tracheal bronchus was not processed. Conclusions Tracheal bronchus is a rare congenital anomaly of airway, and few cases of adult about it are reported in our country at present. With the development of the interventional pulmonology and the medical imaging, the detectable rate of tracheal bronchus is increasing. The patients don't need to be treated specially if there is not a clinical symptom. Key words: Tracheal bronchus ;  Electronic bronchoscope;  Malignant tumors of lung
