Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effects of new labor standards on natural childbirth. Methods A total of 224 cases of maternal who gave birth in Jiangmen Maternity and Child Health Care Hospital from August 2016 to April 2017 were selected and divided into control group (chose old labor standard management labor) and experimental group (chose new labor standard management of labor) according to admission time. The statistical difference in production process and delivery by different management modes were compared. The adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The rate of cesarean section and perineotomy in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group, while the latency and first stage of observation group were significantly longer than those of control group (P<0.05), and the incidences of puerperal infection, postpartum urine retention and neonatal asphyxia in observation group were significantly lower than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions The application of the new birth standard in the production process of natural parturients can reduce the rate of cesarean section and incidence of maternal and neonatal complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion. Key words: New labor standard; Natural childbirth; Comparative study
