Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of ultrashort wave therapy after optic nerve crush and the change of the number of RGC and the express of Bcl-2/Bax in rat. Methods Produce optic nerve crush model in rats, half of them as experimental group, and start to give ultrashort wave therapy immediately. The others as control group, and they do not give ultrashort wave therapy. All of the rats are executed at 3d, 5d, 7d, 10d, 14d and 28d after the crush. And select 5 rats as normal group.Changes of retinal ganglion cells (RGCs) were observed by microscopic examination of the hemtoxylin and eosin (HE the ratio of Bcl-2/Bax has a certain degree correlation with the change of the RGC number. Key words: Retinal ganglion cells;  Ultrashort wave therapy;  Bcl-2/Bax
