Abstract

Background With the rapid development of ambulatory surgery,patients with special comorbidities really challenged anesthetists.Objective To reduce the risk of ambulatory anesthesia.Content This paper analyzed the knowledge updating of ambulatory surgery and related anesthesia problems in 2012 ASA annual meeting.Trend The safety of ambulatory anesthesia is based on thorough consideration of peri-operative management in patients with special comorbidities.
