Abstract

Surgery is one of crucial treatments for glaucoma. The microinvasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), with higher safety and less impact on the anatomical structure of eye, is gradually rising and mature. Compared with conventional glaucoma surgeries, MIGS is relatively simple, with less complications, and less impact for the quality of life.This kind of surgery can be conducted in 3 different space, such as Schlemm canal, the suprachoroidal space, and the subconjunctival .This article reviews briefly the current progress of microinvasive glaucoma surgery.
