Abstract

Post-stroke depression (PSD) is the most common psychiatric disorder after stroke, and mood disorders are the main manifestations. Clinical investigation shows that the prevalence of PSD is as high as 30%-50%. It seriously affects the lives and work of patients, and brings serious impact and heavy economic burden on individuals, families, and the entire society. The discovery of serum biomarkers of PSD has provided a new direction for its diagnosis and treatment. This article reviews the serum biomarker of PSD. Key words: Stroke; Depression; Biomarkers
