Expression of vascular endothelial growth factor in pancreatic carcinoma and its clinical significance

Abstract

目的探讨血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)表达与人胰腺癌的血管生成及其生物学特性的关系.方法应用免疫组织化学方法测定了55例人胰腺癌组织中VEGF的蛋白表达和微血管密度(MVD),与临床病理学特征对照分析.结果胰腺癌的微血管密度平均为54.8±18.6;VEGF表达阳性率70.9%,在低分化、有淋巴结转移和Ⅱ-Ⅳ期的病人,VEGF阳性表达率显著高于中、高分化,无淋巴结转移和Ⅰ期的病人(P<0.05).随访结果证明,VEGF高表达病人术后生存时间比VEGF低表达病人明显缩短(P<0.01).结论VEGF表达水平能反映胰腺癌细胞的恶性程度,可作为胰腺癌分化、转移与预后分析的指标.
