Abstract

Matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)has the functions of degrading extracellular matrix and contributing to angiogenesis,so it plays an important role in the invasion and metastasis process of tumor.This review is about the gene,protein,regulation and the newest clinical progress of MMP-9 in lung cancer.
