Evaluation on clinical application of micro-implant anchorage in orthodontic treatment

Objective To investigate the efficacy of micro-implant anchorage in orthodontic treatment.Methods 60 cases admitted from March 2008 to October 2011 orthodontic patients,were divided into experimental group (n=-30) and control group (n=30).Incisor inclination difference comparative analysis was observed between the upper central incisors protruding length difference and molar displacement.Results Compared with the control group,the experimental group patients in incisor inclination difference and the upper central incisors protruding length difference were significantly greater (P＜0.01); molar displacement was smaller (P＜0.01),with high satisfaction of patients.Conclusions The micro-implant anchorage is simple for operation,orthodontic treatment results are satisfactory.
