Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effects of butylphthalide in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction and its effects on vascular endothelial function and serum inflammatory factor levels. Methods A total of 140 patients with acute cerebral infarction who were treated in Linfen Central Hospital from July 2016 to December 2017 were selected. The patients were divided into study group and control group according to random number table methed, with 70 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment, and the study group was given butylphthalide soft capsule on the basis of conventional treatment. The American National Institute of health stroke scale (NIHSS) score, daily living ability score, cerebral hemodynamics, vascular endothelial function and serum inflammatory factor levels in the two groups were recorded before and after treatment. The therapeutic effects were analyzed. Results After treatment, the NIHSS scores of the two groups decreased with the treatment time (P<0.05), and the Barthel score increased with the treatment time (P<0.05). The NHISS score and Barthel score between the two groups were signicantly different in camparison between two groups, time effect and at each tome point (F=10.142, 12.538, 25.458, P=0.044, 0.001, 0.000; F=8.259, 10.398, 18.372, P=0.040, 0.001, 0.000). After treatment, the maximum peak flow rate, end-diastolic flow rate, and mean flow rate of the two groups were increased treatment (P<0.05), and the level of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the plasma von Willebrand factor (vWF) of the study group was (122.42±11.58)%, endothelin-1 (ET-1) was (78.79±8.41) ng/L, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) was (209.34±18.99) ng/L and carbon monoxide (NO) was (57.01±6.41) μg/L. The levels of vWF, ET-1 and VEGF in the two groups were lower than preoperative levels (P<0.05), and the levels of NO were increased after treatment (P<0.05), and the improvement level of the study group was better than that of the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), interleukin-8 (IL-8), and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in the two groups were lower than those indexes before treatment, which were lower in the study group than those in the control group (P<0.05). The adverse reaction rate of the control group was 12.86%, and that of the study group was 14.29%. Conclusions Butylphthalide can effectively treat cerebral infarction, and it is safe in application. It can also improve the degree of neurological deficit, repair vascular endothelial function, reduce serum inflammatory factor and improve daily living ability.
