Comparative research on curative effects of povidone iodine combined with MEBO and new dressing in the treatment for pressure ulcer

[Objective]To explore and find a kind of method which is cheap and effective,at the same time suitable for primary hospital clinical and community Ⅱ to Ⅳ stage pressure sore treatment,through the use of povidone iodine ointment combined with MEBO and Anpu plaster and other new types of wet dressing in the treatment of stage Ⅱ to Ⅳ pressure ulcer comparison of efficacy and cost comparison research.[Methods]30 cases of bedsore in the experimentalgroup were treated with povidone iodine combined with MEBO according to the proportion of stage Ⅱ to Ⅳ pressure ulcers and 30 cases patients with pressure sores in the control group with Algoplaque new wet dressing in treatment of different stage and dressing cost comparison of curative effect of pressure sore patients.[Results]Two groups of treatment could both promote healing of pressure ulcers.But the average healing time in the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group,and every dressing costs of pressure sores was significantly less than that of control group.The difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).[Conclusion]Compared with Anpu plaster and other new types of wet dressing,povidone iodine combined with MEBO according to the proportion of stage Ⅱ to Ⅳ stage pressure sore,the therapeutic effect is better and cheaper,worth in primary hospital clinical and community promotion application.
