Abstract
Objective To observe biological characteristics of adult human marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BM-MSCs)cultured by the umbilical cord serum.Methods BM-MSCs were obtained from fresh adult human bone marrow and cultured with DMEM/F12 which included 10%umbilical cord blood serum.The surface antigens of BM-MSCs were detected by flow cytometry.BM-MSCs were cultured into differentiation of osteoblasts and adipocytes with conditioned medium for osteogenesis and adipogenesis. Results The antigen of CD29.CD73,and CD105 were high expressed on BM-MSCs.The antigen of CD34,CD45 and CD31 were not expressed on BM-MSCs.The BMMSCs were differentiated into osteoblasts and adipocytes.Conclusion BM-MSCs have high purity and differentiation potency under cuhuring with umbilical cord blood serum.The umbilical cord serum is adapted to clinical application.
