Soft Tissue Sarcoma in Children: A Report of 43 Cases

Abstract

Forty-three children with soft tissue sarcoma were treated between 1962 and 1984,among them,29 were males and 15 females,male:female ratio was 2.1:1.Their ages ranged from 4 months to 14 years.The patients were diagnosed as Rhabdomyosarcoma (19),Leiomyosarcoma (5),Fibrosarcoma (6),Synovial Sarcoma (4),Liposarcoma (4),Hemangi osarcoma (4) and Mesotheliosarcoma (1) by pathology.
