Abstract
Objective To research value of hysteroscopy in diagnosis of early endometrial carcinoma, and discuss safety of it. Methods A retrospective study was carded out on 32 cases of early endometrial carcinoma in our hospital from Jan. 2014 to Dec. 2016.They accepted hysteroscopy and pathological diagnosis first, and then accepted open or laparoscopic treatment. It was counted that hysteroscopy was used to diagnosis early endometrial carcinoma, and then postoperative pathology and exfoliative cells detection was analyzed. Results Among them, 29 patients(90.62%) were diagnosed by hysteroscopy, and 26 patients accepted operations. Intraoperative judgments after operations showed that 7 cases of atypical hyperplasia of endometrium, 8 cases of Ia stage of endometrial cancer, 8 cases of Ib stage, 3 cases of Ic stage. According to the pathological classification, there were 7 cases of atypical hyperplasia of endometrium, 18 cases of endometrioid adenocarcinoma, 1 case of mixed endometrial carcinoma. The rate of peritoneal fluid for cytology was 0 in all patients. Conclusions It has higher value that hysteroscopy was used to diagnosis early endometrial carcinoma, and safety is higher also, which can replace the endometrium piecewise diagnostic curettage. Key words: Atypical hyperplasia of endometrium; Endometrial cancer; Hysteroscopy; Exfoliative cells
