Abstract

Objective To investigate the changes of immune functions of erythrocytes of children with malignant tumors. Methods The floral hoop method was employed to test the immune functions of erythrocytes of children with malignant tumors. Results Compared to the normal control group or the benign tumor group, the positive rates of RB receptor rosette test and RBC-C3b receptor rosette enhance test of the malignant tmor group was significantly lower (P<0.01); the positive rates of RBC-IC rosette test and RBC-C3b receptor rosette inhibitor test of the malignant tmor group was significantly higher ( P <0.01); rates of four kinds of tumor erythrocyte rosette test of the malignant tumor group was remarkably lower (P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions Immune functions of erythrocytes of children with malignant tumors was low. The test of the erythrocyte immune function is helpful for the exploration of the pathogenesis and treatment of malignant tmor in children.
