Effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation nursing on patients with cerebral infarction and physical dysfunction

Abstract
Objective
To explore the effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation nursing on patients with cerebral infarction and physical dysfunction.
Methods
100 cases of physical dysfunction during the cerebral infarction convalescence treated in rehabilitation department of our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group. The control group was given routine care and treatment, the observation group was given acupuncture combined with rehabilitation nursing based on the control group. Observed the curative effect after 1 month of therapy.
Results
The BBS score of the observation group after treatment and nursing [(31.3±1.32)] was significantly higher than that of the control group [(15.1±1.37)], with statistically significant difference (P=0.00); the FMA score of the observation group [(26.17±1.29)] was significantly higher than that of the control group [(14.63±1.57)], with statistically significant difference (P=0.01); the ratio of patients with Barthel index ≥60 of the observation group (21/50) was significantly higher than that of the control group (14/50), the ratio of patients with Barthel index <20 of the observation group (4/50) was significantly lower than that of the control group (10/50), with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).
Conclusion
Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation nursing has improved the balance of physical activity and motor function in patients with physical dysfunction during the cerebral infarction convalescence, and has improved the quality of life of patients.
