Abstract
Objective To observe the application effect of positive feedback loop management in the prevention of occupational exposure needlestick injury. Methods The positive feedback loop management based on the major factor analysis was applied in the prevention of occupational exposure needlestick injury from January 2015 in our hospital.The differences of the relevant indicators were compared before and after the implementation. Results After the implementation of positive feedback loop management based on the major factor analysis, the score of nurses' KAP in terms of the protection from needle injury was significantly higher than that before the implementation, and the occupational exposure needlestick injury rate was significantly lower than before the implementation, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) . Conclusion Positive feedback loop management based on the major factor analysis applied in the occupational exposure needlestick injury protection can improve the level of nurses' KAP, and reduce the possibility of occupational exposure needlestick injury.
