Role of type-2 innate lymphoid cells in asthma

Abstract

Type 2 innate lymphoid cells(ILC2) is a new group of the innate lymphoid cells which has been rescently discovered.These cells can produce type-2 cytokines such as interleukin-5(IL-5) and interleukin-13(IL-13) on response to interleukin-33(IL-33), interleukin-25(IL-25) and thymic stromal lyphopoietin(TSLP). ILC2 cell play a critic role in the occurrence /development of asthma. Key words: Asthma; Innate lymphoid cells; Immune response
