Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of glycolic acid combined with acne extrusion in the treatment of acne vulgaris. Methods 106 cases of facial acne vulgaris were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, 53 cases in each group. The control group was treated with acne extrusion only, the experimental group was treated with glycolic acid combined with acne extrusion. The therapeutic effect was evaluated after treatment. Results The total efficiency of the experimental group and the control group were 92.45% and 73.59%, the cure rate were 67.92% and 33.96%, the therapeutic effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Glycolic acid combined with acne extrusion is effective for the treatment of acne vulgaris. Key words: Glycolic acid; Acne extrusion; Acne vulgaris
