Effect of the combination of hyperbaric oxygen and local mild hypothermia on the treatment of cerebral hemorrhage patients

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and prognosis of hyperbaric oxygen in combination with local mild hypothermia in treatment of post cerebral hemorrhage surgery.Methods 60 patients with post cerebral hemorrhage surgery were randomly divided into two groups.the therapeutic group(30 cases) and the control group(30 cases).Both of the two groups received regular complex treatment:dehydration,decreased intracranial pressure.nutrition of cranial nerve,control of blood pressure.Based on this treatment,the therapeutic group was also given with hyperbaric oxygenation.The control group was only taken local mild hypothermia treatment.The ICP at one-week after surgery,the SaO2 and the GCS were recorded in two groups when admission and discharge the hospital.Results ICP in the therapeutic group wss lower than the control group(P<0.01),and SaO2 increased significantly(P<0.01),GCS and GOS scores were superior to the control group(P<0.01).Conclusions The treatment of local mild hyperthennia in combination with hyperbaric oxygenation can effectively control the disease in patients with cerebral hemorrhage.The prognosis and the quality of life also be improved.
