Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effects of using antiemetic at the different timing on the patients with gynecologic malignant tumor to prevent gastrointestinal reaction caused by chemotherapy. Methods Forty - two patients with gynecologic malignant tumor who received chemotherapy were randomly divided into two groups with 21 patients in each group. The patients in observation group were received antiemetic before and after chemotherapy and were treated with normal nursing. The control group was received antiemetic at randomly time when patients needed. Results The incidence of nausea, vomiting in observation group were obviously lower and the degree were lighter than those in control group. Conclusions The incidence of nausea, vomiting from gynecologic malignant tumor chemotherapy can be effectively prevented and with use of antiemetic before chemotherapy. It is the key to a succesdul chemotherapy.Patients’ pain will be alleviated and life quality is improved. Key words: Antiemetic; Timing; Chemotherapy; Gastrointestinal reaction
