Complex regional pain syndrome

Abstract
Complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) is a rare condition. Two types of CRPS have been recognized: CRPS Ⅰ which occurs without a definite nerve lesion, and CRPS Ⅱ with the presence of definite nerve lesions. The prominent symptom of this disease is pain, and the pain is accompanied by skin color changes, abnormal skin temperature and sudomotor activity. This paper presents the clinical manifestation, pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and therapy of this entity.
