Efficacy of edaravone and butylphthalide combination therapy on cerebral infarction

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of edaravone combined with butylphthalide on patients with cerebral infarction. Methods Eighty patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups. The patients in the control group were treated with edaravone, and the patients in the experiment group were treated with edaravone and butylphthalide. The neurological deficit and life ability, overall therapeutic effect and adverse drug reaction of the two groups were compared. Results The BI index (78.38 ± 12.96), the NIHSS score (4.32 ± 1.34) in the experiment group were significantly higher than those in the control group (60.55 ± 12.05, 7.17 ± 2.28), the differences were significant (t=6.816, 6.372, P 0.05). Conclusions The efficacy of edaravone combined with butylphthalide enalapril on patients with cerebral infarction is significant and safe, and it can be used for reference.
