Study on role of vascular endothelial growth factor and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor in acute lung injury

Vascular endothelial growth factor is important vascular endothelial adjusting factor. It can promote proliferation and differentiation of endothelial cells,induce angiogenesis, and increase capillary permeability through binding to its specific receptor. Recent researches have shown that vascular endothelial growth factor plays different roles in acute lung injury with different reasons in different stages.
