Application of case method teaching in medical colleges and universities of China

218 papers about the application of case method teaching in medicine be screened through CNKI database since 2011, these papers reported that case method teaching has been widely carried out in basic courses, clinical courses, public courses and been widely used in many medicine professional in medical colleges and universities of China. Leading into the case method teaching in medical teaching was beneficial for inspiring the enthusiasm and motivation of students, improving their ability of application of knowledge, enhancing their ability of practice. This paper carry out the present situation, the main form and problems of case method teaching in higher medical colleges and universities in our country, in order to accurately grasp the idea and method, help teachers to design more reasonable teaching case in teaching practice, improve the quality of case teaching.
