Abstract

Video-assisted thoracic surgery remains the conventional method in treating lung ground-glass opacity. However, ground-glass opacities, which are small in size and short of solid component, are still a difficulty for thoracic surgeons to operative treatments. Currently, types of location technology are used in ground-glass opacity operative treatments. This article reviews certain main methods used in ground-glass opacity location. The advantages and disadvantages of these methods are also summarized and concluded. Key words: Ground-glass opacity; Video-assisted thoracic surgery; Location technology
