Abstract
T-box family causes extensive interests in recent years, which plays a critical role hi cardiac development and hereditary disease. TBX1 transcription factor is essential for normal heart development, espe-cially for cardiac outflow tract development. Nowadays, it is a hot research to check the relationship between TBX1 and 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. This review introduces correlation study of TBX1 in these years, inclu-ding its structure characters, expression during embryonic development, correlative diseases and relationship with other genes.
