Abstract
House dust mite is one of the most common and important indoor allergens. Group 1 and 2 allergens are two major allergens of house dust mites. This article reviewed the research progress on group 2 al- lergen, its localization in the body of house dust mites, structure and biochemical characteristics, homology and polymorphism, the mechanism of house dust mite allergy, the importance of the allergen and development of vaccine etc..
