Abstract

Objective To summarize the clinical efficacy of low-dose hormones, antibiotics and fresh plasma in the treatment of patients with early severe hepatitis. Methods 60 patients with early severe hepatitis were randomly divided into treatment group( 30 cases )and control group( 30 cases). The control group was given conventional therapy, the treatment group was given low-dose hormones, antibiotics, fresh plasma treatment based on the conventional therapy. Results There were statistically significant differences between the two groups after treatment in TBil,ALT,albumin and prothrombin time( t =5.083,2.329,4.384,7.327,P <0.05).The gastrointestinal symptoms improved time and jaundice disappearance time in treatment group were( 1.9 + 0.6) and( 15.9 + 2.8)d,and were significantly shorter than those in control group( t =12.290,10.038,P < 0.01).The mortality and infection rates were 15.6% and 7.1% in treatment group seperately, and were significantly lower than control group (40.0%,33.3 % ) ( x2 =4.020,5.104,P < 0.05).Conclusions The combined therapy can improve the clinical symptoms, recover liver function and increase survival rate in early severe hepatitis patients.
