Abstract

Placenta previa combined with placenta accreta is one of the serious complications which can endanger mothers and infants′ life in late pregnancy. The main method of pregnancy termination of placenta previa combined with placenta accreta is cesarean section, but the high risk of placenta accrete, increta and percreta can cause fatal bleeding. The interventional therapy in the treatment of placenta previa combined with placenta accrete in women with caesarean section has been widely used in recent years, and the effects of prevent hemorrhage treatment has also been recognized. This review provides a comprehensive summary of the interventional therapy in the treatment of placenta previa combined with placenta accreta in women with caesarean section. Key words: Placenta previa; Placenta accreta; Interventional therapy; Artery balloon occlusion; Uterine artery embolization; Cesarean section
