Abstract
The article looks at the technological development in information products, such as maps and timetables. Intelligent transportation systems are credited with providing passengers with information services that provide the traveler knowledge about the transit system. Several projects concerned with public transit and information technology that are under development in Gotheburg, Sweden, are described.
