Abstract
In human infectious diseases, the mortality of tuberculosis is the highest, about two million people die of tuberculosis every year. It is estimated that new cases are 9.2 million each year. More seriously, one third of the world's population has been infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis.According to WHO statistics, patients with multiple-drug resistance tuberculosis around the world have accounted for 20% ,and the number is increasing year by year. Therefore,a clear mechanism of resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis can not only establish a rapid, sensitive and accurate detection method, but also find antituberculosis drug targets, develop new antituberculosis drugs, control tuberculosis, and reduce the burden and suffering of patients. Key words: Mycobacterium tuberculosis; Drug resistance mechanism; Cell wall; Molecular mechanism; Efflux pump
