Games for Mathematics Skill Practice

Abstract

Mathematics games patterned after commercial games played on game boards have enjoyed great successes among elementary children in mathematics classrooms. The two games described here are examples of popular children's and adult's games that have been adapted from the original commercial games to fit the objectives of classroom instruction. These games have been played in Sevier's fourthgrade classes.
