Abstract

North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and Arctic Oscillation (AO) is an effective patterns of climate variability in general circulation area outside the hemisphere Tropical North. And is the main cause of climate control elements such as temperature and precipitation, which are great social and economic effects on the part energy, agriculture, industry, transport and health. In the present study was evaluated the effect of the phenomenon Arctic Oscillation and North Atlantic Oscillation on precipitation and temperature in Lorestan province. Was used for this purpose, the numerical values of NAO index as an indicator of pressure to explain variation in North Atlantic Ocean, AO index numeric values as indicators explain changes in the Arctic pressure and temperature and precipitation values of synoptic stations located in Lorestan province (Khorram Abad, Aligudarz, Boroujerd and Kuhdasht) during long-term statistics. ¬ is the main method used in this study using analytic statistics (Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient and principal component analysis and linear trend of polynomial).
