Abstract

Previously [3], throughput of optical CDMA (OCDMA) pure ALOHA networks with fixed-length message and carrier load sensing protocol (CLSP) has been analyzed. Here we analyze the throughput of its extension to variable length data. The results demonstrate the OCDMA/ pure ALOHA systems/CLSP with variable message length has higher throughput than [3].
