Abstract
Natural childbirth is a physiological process that women must go through after the end of pregnancy, which willbe accompanied by severe pain and greater risk. At present, due to the lack of understanding of the knowledgeof natural childbirth and the fear of the pain caused by natural childbirth, the probability of cesarean section ofpregnant women has been constantly promoted in China. The new mode of obstetric care provides a better rolefor maternal natural childbirth. The purpose of this paper is to provide a practical guarantee for maternal andchild safety by studying the application value of the new mode of obstetric nursing in natural childbirth. In thispaper, the conception of natural childbirth and its related concepts are explained, and the conceptualcharacteristics of cesarean section are compared. Then, the concept and specific contents of obstetric nursing arediscussed, and the new model of obstetric nursing is introduced in detail. Finally, the specific role of obstetricnursing in promoting maternal natural childbirth is studied by means of retrospective analysis of relevant cases. The results showed that 66.3% of the total number of women in the experimental group were delivered naturally, and 33.7% were delivered by cesarean section. Among the women in the observation group, those who gavebirth naturally accounted for 95.9% of the experimental group, and the cesarean section rate was only 4.1%. Thesuccess rate of natural delivery was as high as 85.7%.
