Abstract

Information visualization plays an important role in human life. It is believed that about 90% of all received information people receive through vision. Humanity for thousands of years has overcome the way from simple imaging methods in the form of rock paintings to maps, charts and graphs. Currently, visualization based on graph models is an inherent part of the processing of complex information about the structure of objects, systems and processes in many applications in science and technology. In this paper, we describe an effective algorithm for visualization of graph representations of data-flow programs and its effective implementation within the Visual Graph system for visualization of arbitrary attributed hierarchical graphs with ports.
