Abstract
ABSTRACT A numerical study of particle dispersion in anisotropic homogeneous turbulent flows is reported. The stochastic turbulent field is represented by a set of random numbers with a pre-set covariance simulating the Reynolds stress in a turbulent flow. The effects of turbulence intensity, aerodynamic response time and Reynolds stress on the particle dispersion are presented.
