Abstract
The effectiveness of an electric arc discharge combined with ultrashort laser pulses for the synthesis of nanopowdered materials is discussed. The gas pressure corresponding to the highest conductivity of a laser-induced plasma channel is determined. The size of nanoparticles as a function of the treatment mode is established as well.
