Abstract
BACKGROUND: Functional endoscopic sinus surgery is very useful for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic sinus diseases. Paranasal sinus & orbit are closely related anatomically (the ethmoidal sinuses and sphenoid air sinuses lie medial to the medial wall of orbit while inferior orbital wall is related to maxillary air sinus). Therefore, the surgical procedures done in paranasal sinuses can cause injury to the orbit1.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
