Abstract
N,N’-bis[2-(5-bromo-7-azabenzimidazol-1-yl)-2-oxoethyl]ethylene-1,3-diamine and the –cyclohexyl- 1,2-diamine analogue were synthesized from 7-aza-5-bromobenzimidazole. Their effect on human cervix adenocarcinoma cells was examined and the results indicated that the two novel compounds were not cytotoxic. Azabenzimidazoles; Akylation; HeLa cells; Cytotoxicity; NMR
