Abstract
Women entrepreneurship development is helpful in developing woman’s social wealth significance and to make powerful to them. It is due to entrepreneurial activities show the way to self-fulfillment and makes women conscious about their status, survival, right and their place is in the society. Women entrepreneurship is essential for women’s position in society, and economic development of women will lead to development of family, community and country. Women involvement in the SMME industry contributes to the increase in family and national income. Their products are all cottage-based gaining popularity via online marketing and getting global interest. Due to the increasing rate of technologies in education, entrepreneurial activities, marketing and branding and also decision making, there is a need to assist women to be digitally literate and take advantage of the ICT. Women’s entrepreneurship is dependent on both demand side (political and institutional framework, family policy and market sources) and supply side factors (the availability of suitable individuals to occupy entrepreneurial roles). In this context this paper will share several initiatives in developing online women entrepreneurs.
