THE MUSICAL IMAGINATION IN THE PRACTICAL SPHERE OF STUDENTS MUSICAL PEDAGOGES

Abstract

In the Bulgarian musical education system, the problem of musical imagination occupies an important place because of the actuality and proven importance in the process of the overall building of the childhood personality. The musical development of the child's personality is particularly defined in the creative musical activity. The musical imagination is a necessary element for each of the musical activities through which the musical-educational process is realized. By singing, the children are artists with musical-vocal skills and abilities, but also with rich fantasy in building a musical-performing image. In the perception of music, creative tasks can also be placed, which contributes to the entering the essence of the musical work, stimulates listening interest and significantly increases the emotional impact of music. Improvisation is presented as a main activity in the Bulgarian musical-pedagogical system. Children improvise vocal music, dance moves, choreography, accompaniment with musical instruments, the main idea is not to achieve high musical scores and creative masterpieces, but rather to stimulate the creative potential of children, to create a creative attitude and to enjoy the arts as a whole.Creative activities are inherent in every stage of musical education from pre-school to high school. Improvisation, by virtue of its specifics, is the best way to develop the child's imagination, to uncover and develop children's creative potential. Musical creativity plays a leading role in the synthesis of emotional responsiveness and thinking, abstract and concrete, logic and intuition, creative imagination, the ability to make quick decisions and analytical thinking.An important aspect of modern interpretation of musical imagination and creativity is the role of musical activity with its positive emotional attitude and fascinating character, which makes it a unique means of pedagogical impact on children with different types of disorders. Art has the unique ability to awaken the creative potential of the personality. Through music, the child has the opportunity to reveal its natural aspirations to imitate and recreate, to manifest itself in different ways.The creative aspect of the Bulgarian musical education system brings to the foreground the creative musical-cognitive activity, where the creative beginning is leading and decisive for all musical activities at the expense of the reproductive principle. Contemporary understanding of the role and tasks of the musical pedagogue requires that the formation and development of the musical imagination should begin at an early preschool age and for the quality of the teaching process the purposeful guidance of the musical pedagogue and the individual approach are really important. It is of great importance to give a role model living example, due to the fact that the formation of children's musical concepts becomes most natural by hearing and visual perception. This is how, the teacher's display becomes a model for artistic performance, enriches the knowledge and widen the horizons of the children.The task of contemporary music education is to identify and develop children’s creativity in accessible and interesting activities. One of the possibilities for developing the imagination and creativity of children is music improvisation.
