Abstract

Portal hypertension is one common complication with a high mortality in end-stage liver diseases. However, poor outcome has been shown with present therapeutic strategy, and the diagnosis and treatment of portal hypertension and its complications are research focuses. Therefore, it is necessary for clinicians and expert to regard diagnosis and treatment of portal hypertension patients, and to improve their clinical outcomes.
