Abstract

Fog computing is the advancement or extension of cloud computing paradigm. It is the advanced distributed system, where the network keeps the data close and reduces the time to deliver the information to the end users. This research work presents the discussion about fog computing architecture by explaining its working nature with the support of various layers. The limitations of the cloud computing and how fog computing overcomes cloud computing drawbacks and its application in various fields are also discussed.
