Abstract

The experiment result of a high voltage pseudospark discharge driven by a pulse line accelerator is presented. The pulse line accelerator consists of a 10stage Marx generator and a modified pulse forming line. A high brightness electron beam of a current about 10kA is obtained under a discharge voltage of 300kA in a low pressure nitrogen gas .
