Abstract

Leadershiphasbeensalientcharacteristicsarefromancientpast.Leadershipstyleshavebeen notable from born of civilization and due course of time it altered in styles they were Authoritarian Leadership Style, during the Middle Ages it lead to a new style in leadership that being Democracy Leadership Style during the 20thcentury it brought a bloom in leadership styles and in the Modern Era depict their own leadership style .Each leader has his/her own leadership style finding to be unique. The characteristics are learnt over a span of time in their own style whereby influencing the team perception of growth. In the current scenario the leadership styles have its determination to comprehend the building blocks of the team despite of the team size big or small it has been influenced by leadership styles. The phenomenon of leadership has been demonstrated when children play and in adults it has been proved at work spots and in certain circumstances but each having its own style. The study aims understand the relationship and the importance between male and female effectiveness and the gender leadership factors that help in understanding and directing the team to a healthier and higher performance.
