An Empirical Analysis of the Factors Affecting Economic Growth in Shaanxi Province

Abstract
In order to study the influencing factors of Shaanxi's economic growth, this paper collects data on Shaanxi's regional GDP, household consumption expenditure, total social fixed assets investment, education funds and local fiscal general budget expenditures from 1998 to 2018. A regression model was established for the GDP of Shaanxi Province and four potential influencing factors. The results analyzed the impact of potential influencing factors on the economic growth of Shaanxi Province. Finally, this paper puts forward relevant suggestions from the aspects of promoting economic structure improvement, increasing residents' consumption and increasing investment in education.
