Abstract
We found that the absolute spleen weight in geese 11 months old is – 1,730,1953 g, and the relative weight – 0,056±0,0065%. Area of connective stroma tissue of the organ in geese is 6,645 ± 0,486%, and parenchyma, respectively – 93,355 ± 0,486%. The composition of white and red pulp of the spleen geese are re???ticulocytes, lymphocytes, lymphoblasts (immunoblasts), plasma cells, macrophages, and moreover red pulp posesses red cells, granulocytes and their precursors. Cell content of white pulp and red pulp varies. The presence of pulp spleen geese precur???sors of granulocytes indicates the possibility of their development in this organ. Geese, spleen, connective stroma tissue, parenchyma, lymphoid nod???ules, lymphocytes, monocytes, macrophages, plasma cells, lymphoblasts, granulocytes, erythrocytes.
